The ex SOS fundraising committee girls met up today for our monthly get together.

This time we ate at Ikimiz in Kyrenia.

What an experience......., typical Cypriot food. Prepared and cooked with care by Fatma,

and served by the delightful Latife, her daughter.



We just asked to eat whatever they had to offer. Great choice. Four delicious dishes.

It was such a lovely change from the usual Kebab.

Well worth a try, thankyou both for a lovely lunch. Sonra gurisuruz

Were is this please? Anything makes a change from endless Kebab. I love TC stews and soups.

Tango1, it's in the old Turkish quarter, not far from effendi's.

It's next door to the old Greek Church. I found it best to park in, what was, the free car park, by the fire station, then walk to the restuarant. Parking is limited.

I was one of the 'girls'. It is traditional Turkish Cypriot food at its best and you are made to feel very 'at home'. Give it a try you won't be disappointed. AND you all know I like a BARGAIN! Having said that it does not compromise the quality of the food and the hospitality. Well done Fatma and Latife!

I fancy a Wednesday evening when they have the guitarist, imagine, nice cosy fire, good food, good company, nice music. What a life!!!!!
