Hi, the heel on my boots has worn down and before it gets too bad it thought I'd get them repaired. Can anyone recommend a cobbler in the Catalkoy to Girne end of town please. I saw there might be one in Girne and wondered if it was still there and if anyone had directions? Thanks so much.

The cobblers in Girne is down a passage along from the Colony Hotel & after the chemist shop. A rusty old sign points the way. He closes for lunch & random other times !!!

It is behind the Taxi rank Kombos, I think but he has a phone number on the door if he is closed and speaks good English. We have used him a few times and does a good job. Sometimes will do while you wait but otherwise within a day or two.

There`s one at Karaoglanoglu. Turn right to go to Edremit and it`s on your almost immediate right.

There is a new one on the other side of the road between the new Lemar and Cratos hotel. It is an upmarket shoe shop, he also makes his own shoes. I had my boots done for 10 tl. The shop is called Fehmiler, next to a swimming pool shop.
