For example, what if you find you are unable to earn a living? A global recession is not the time to become an economic migrant - or is it?



I agree to an extent about making the emotional committment but given your particular situation, where there is the added leap of faith with your dad, you really should have a 'plan B'...



You may get there and realise you absolutely loathe the place - dad or no dad...



I've never been and lots of people love Australia but everyone is not you...
