Not that surprising petrol has gone up also road tax and insurance and mot. Build all that in and the time it takes. There you go.

I have heard there is a coach from Paphos to Lefkosia via Larnaca which is very cheap and quite fast. You can then walk across the border and catch the coach to Girne. This will be a lot cheaper than £80 but it is whether you are fit enough to do this. Our friends did this last year and they are both in their late 60's but I think they found it tiring.

msg 6 does the car run by water? it is almost 5 hours drive to paphos. i asked my friend who is a taxi driver it will cost at least 100 pounds and to karsıyaka it is like from one corner to another

if the flight is coming in at 3.30 she will not have time to get to Nicosia, there is only one bus from Paphos to Nicosia via Limassol.

also the last bus from Lefkosa to Girne is at 6.30pm

Thank you all for your replies,still think there is a good profit in it for the driver, I have driven to Paphos before and it took 2hours and 20 mins, not 5 hours as Erkin says, unless she/he means round trip.

Also to Karsiyaka the quickest route to take is back way through the villages and not through Kyrenia.Tkanks again for input.

You mention that you are arriving at 15.30, the last bus from Paphos to Nicosia is at 14:00, but you can get a bus from the airport to Limassol by Airport Shuttle then Intercity from Limassol to Nicosia and walk across the border,



Abit long winded but cheaper.

The journey is from Paphos to karsiyaka on 21st December, my friend is departing from Doncaster/sheffield Airport on Thomsonfly and arriving Paphos at 3.40 pm.

mindy , you can hire a car at paphos airport and drive to the north , for the price of a return taxi fare , 2 hrs 30 min ,drive .
