Help still needed please, Iskele, Bogaz

We were driving from Girne to our home in the south, in Liopetri, on the afternoon of 15 Dec, and stopped at the harbour in Iskele to look around, and whilst sitting on a bench (1st new wooden one) I took some pictures, but on arrival at home, I cannot find the camera - would anyone in the area be able to check with the restaurants and the police station for me? It is a silver Olympus Camedia C400 camera, and almost all of the pictures on it are of our holiday over the past 3 days in the north. We had responses when this first went out, and today I phoned the police station to ask, but was told I would have to go in to ask, as they couldn't tell me over the phone whether or not the camera had been handed in there. Can anyone spare the time to go in and ask for me, please, as at this time of year, the trip back up would be difficult to fit in, but if someone is local, it may be possible to drop in. Thanks for those who looked around intially, but more help would be appreciated. Thanks

sorry I can't help, but I have passed on this link to a couple of folk who live over that side in the hopes that someone can make enquiries for you. I do hope so, as it is annoying to lose your camera and your holiday memories on film.

And you seem to have the same camera as I, but I realise that is of no help.

I passed on the message to a friend in Iskele who ssaid he would tryto find someone to help. that was a day ago, so there is hope.
