Insurance claim from recent storm

I have just disscovered this forum and thank you Dee for letting me know of its existance.

I have owned a property at Andiz sokak, Lapta since 2006, and never claimed on my Insurance. However, i suffered extensive damage from the recent cyclonic storm on the night of 15th November. My Insurance company Cansigorta, refuse to pay toward the remidial works as they say the damage was caused by a flood ( i have a large excess) and not the storm.

Do any members have proof that it was a storm, and do you have any suggestions of a third party that might be able to help?
