| we are redecorating our property at the moment and was wondering if anyone had any idea whether accesories i.e door handles, lighting is cheaper in the UK?? |

| We spent years bringing out bits and pieces only to find you can find equivalent quality items / similar price etc in TRNC (but you have to look for them). There is a pretty good choice of light fittings / accessories but it goes without saying that you should avoid the cheap shops (Mr Pound, cheap yapi markets etc) i.e. same advice for buying in UK. Another option is visiting suppliers in the South to widen your choice (but be aware of the maximum amounts you can purchase to avoid customs tax if stopped at the border). We limit our joint purchases to about £150 equivalent. However, if it is something that you really like and have only found in UK... then bring it out! Hope this helps |

| Thanx guys. Think i will feel better just bringing from the uk. Seems like the better option. |
