Has there yet been any publication of the data collected. Will the Government publish what they have collected?

Even if published Waz, I'm not sure how reliable and accurate it would be.

The UN has excepted the first fig of 294,000 TRNC nationals, but the Gc is insisiting the fig are incorrect and that most mainlanders have not been counted.



another argument for the GC to push for at the next round of talks this month.

Have comprehensive results of the census in the North been published yet - ie. how many Turkish Cypriots, Turkish Mainlanders and Foreign Nationals? The South has recently had a census too, the results of which were published in the "Cyprus Mail" on the 30th December 2011. According to that article, the population is 838,897.

There are 179,547 foreign residents who comprise 21.4 per cent of the population. Over 112,000 EU nationals make up 62.6 per cent of the current foreign population.

This about the true population of trnc,and 'you' dont need to be a 'gc' to object against it.
