Went to the Ship Inn. Food was as good as any meal in a 3* hotel. It was ok, nothing to shout home about. There was lots of choice of meze starters and desserts which were all buffet style so you could eat as much as you liked. There were 3 mains, we both had Kleftico (Cleftico on the menu so I wasn't expecting anything special). It was ok, but only ok. Cost was £30 so yes a little over the top for 3 courses. But drinks prices are good, they're not overpriced. However, the entertainment was a joke. A guy playing organ and singing most of the night. He could just about put over a song but he seemed to think it was trendy to mix records with different beats that just didn't work. In summary, crap! Then a belly dancer came on. We quickly realised she didn't do a lot. After the first record she then spent 1/2 an hr working her way around every man in the dining room begging for them to put money down her bikini. Then she left and back to the organ guy. Wouldn't go again.

We went to Efendi, the food & service was excellent. Welcome Champagne cocktail. Six courses, plenty of choice for the starters, main & pud. lovely cheese board, then a huge fruit plate. Sorbet between courses, coffee & truffels to finish. Live jazz music to start with party poppers & party music to finish. £55 Would definitely go again.

We went to a new place in town called Big Os (used to be annibal, I think) really nice, worth a visit, enchilladas, burritos, wraps, burgers, that sort of thing and not expensive either then into Whiskey Joes too, agree, best new years since weve been here.
