Cheers for the tips everyone. My wife (Russian) and I (Australian) have lived in Moscow (Russia) for 8 years and have a 5 year old kid. We have moved here from Moscow to here so our kid can start school (at ESK). We were thinking of trying to start/buy some sort of business here, but suspect that now probably isnt the time, so are looking at moving back to Australia. We will go to somewhere near Melbourne/Geelong or possibly down the south coast a tad to Warrnambool.

What a small world it is!. My son is going to build a house and live in Geelong, he is to be married on the pier later this year. The area around Geelong has been recently renovated and is now rather smart. Let us all know how you get on.

Small world indeed,

We were in Geelong in Sep and Oct this year to see our son and his family who have resettled there. We went there on a house swap and were sightseeing all around the area and liked what we saw.

That stretch down the coast from Geelong (Great Ocean Road) is absolutely beautiful country and inland (through Colac, Camperdown etc) is very nice country also. I went to school in Geelong and have always thought it a nice town (quite a large town by Australian standards), and all the high life is only ever an hour drive away in Melbourne.

Must admit messaged 10 has a good idea. Our move over cost $20,000 8 years ago. A 40ft container, but I am such a sentimental old fool that I cannot bear to part with anything. But if you are not a sentimental idio such as I, then timaloy could have a point. (Especially as we have no money left now!)
