Best Mechanic in Girne/Catalkoy area

Hi All



Could you please advise me on the best mechanics to go to get a couple of things sorted on my car. The main problem is a leaky readiator and also the motor on 1 of the electric windows has gone. There may be other problems so a full service in probably in order but I would love to know the best place to take it where I'll get a good service without getting ripped off.

Head towards Lapta from Girne , take the turning on the right that goes to the Merit Crystal Cove hotel ( clearly signposted ) Ziggys garage a couple of hundred yards down on your right . Good mechanic reliable and wont rip you off .

Many thanks guys. I had heard good things about Erdeners but just wanted it clarified. Unfortunatley Phil, I'm not sure it will make it to Alsancak as the radiator is pouring out. Just about got to Dogankoy from Catalkoy before I had to stop.

Give mehmet or mustapha a call. They are in Ozankoy. They will come to you if necessary. Very popular with the expats. They do a professional job, and will not rip you off. Everyone who I have referred to them has said they were more than satisfied and they will never go anywhere else. Their number is 0533 8457823.

Agree with msge 6 - these two guys are like mechanics used to be. They will even tell you if your problem is beyond that which they can fix, give you advice for free, take your vehicle to another who can fix the problem and are always helpful. They do a really good professional job and their price is always fair and honest. I have been using them for the past two years and would never take my vehicle anywhere else now.



Two small warnings for you: don't be put off by the look of the garage, its on a corner and work space is limited indeed. Put something over your seats when you leave your car.



These guys work hard in all weathers and are normally covered in oil/grease so make sure your car seats are covered and be prepared to clean your steering wheel afterwards - its worth it!!!!

I went there recently with a diesel knock on my Ford Transit van, other mechanics I spoke to didn't have a clue what I was talking about. Erdener Garage put it right for me.
