Popped into The Waterfront on the way home tonight and was really impressed with menu, service and quality of food. Well done to Gordon and his team-something special is brewing there me thinks. We spoke to the chef also who seems really clued in and a nice bloke. Great experience all round.

What kind of food do they do Pete? Have they been open long? Can't say that I can place it at the moment....

I think the food side of things has been building steadily in recent weeks. Menu a mixture of traditional British fayre plus a range of continental. Chef we met was from Sri Lanka and his food was spot on. Nice atmosphere in there-based in the bar/restaurant area behind The Celebrity Hotel.
