What has happened to them they normaly give the best exchange rate for Sterling, but today all the other shops are giving 1-2 tl more to the pound.



Even the Supreme is giving more than them today.

Ask them. You are right, they normally boast that they give the best. Maybe a mistake somewhere. Maybe they don't know - so go and ask them.

We've noticed for the past few weeks that you got a better exchange rate in town. Now we only go to Monexchange if we don't have time to go into town.

Go to Kozan Doviz, they have several outlets including a great one next to Istasyion on main road just after the fountain roundabout. Always the best rates.

We appreciate your feed back. We try our best to give competitive rates, but nowadays the rates are so volatile, and they keep changing every second unfortunately. This is because of the unusual flow of the news to the currency markets. Most importantly, the central bank is making serious interventions to support the lira, and lira has been strengthening against stg and euro.



Starling might have better rates on the intervention day, because they dont update their rates every second, as their main business is not buying and selling currencies. but for exchange business like us, we need to update accordingly, as we handle so many larger volumes of transactions than Starling, and we have customers who are buying FX currency from us as well. If the rates go down due to the central bank intervention, we need to lower the rates so that we can sell them cheaper according to the markets.
