This may be a stupid question, or maybe I've misread the post, but,
if your friend is in the UK, why doesn't he just go to the post office for the stamps?

Because its a friend of a friend that is not very able and I don't want to be too much of a nuisance, so I thought if I can get some stamps she only needs to put them in the post box. It also needs a return postal back to me here so I would like to send an envelope ready with stamps on.
got any stamps? |

| I found l0 first class stamps in a drawer the other day which must have been lost five or more years ago! Are they still accepted by Royal Mail? No price on them, just "First Class" and the Queen's Head. |
