thanx for your comments I considered bringing one from home but when I bent it to put in in my case it became unusable. No I wanted a second hand one but cheap so thank you and no thank u rich b.

I bought a new putter about a year ago. My old one (mallet type), which is about 12 years old and in reasonably good nick, is taking up room in the attic. I can't remember what make it is but will look this evening when I get home and let you know. You can have it for the special sale price of one pint of Efes!!

We have some of our son's clubs here and there is a putter in there I know. Make us an offer for the lot and you can have them all for your son. We don't play golf and he has his own back in the UK and has no interest in these here.
