What a great morning out - lovely weather-picked up a few bargains- got lots of winter reading material - caught up with friends - had a glass (or2) of mulled wine - bought some lovely cakes that i shall pass off as my own - had a cuddle with the pups - won NONE of the many good raffle prizes. What a lovely way to spend a December Saturday.

To top it all i have just heard that the event raised more than £8000 !!!! It just goes to show what can be done with a lot of effort from everyone involved and the support of the public (especially in these difficult credit crunching times) - Pats on the back all round.
