It's very sad, I would have thought Mark Unwin would have repaid all the older folk who trusted him. Alot of them have died. Big list . I dont understand how he has so much power?

This is the 12th thread that you have instigated mentioning Unwins in the last 18 months.....do you not think that topic fatigue might be an issue ?

I did not call it "a topic of fatigue " , I asked about " topic fatigue " given the amount of Unwin threads that you have started . Also , many of the recent threads have been closed by the moderators ( rightly or wrongly ) and the whole thing seems to run into a dead end, like it or not. I'm sorry but, I don't see the point of another thread on the same subject at this time. no offense intended.

Froggy Your so right, why should these people get away with their wrong doings. Let punishment fit the crime.

Eamonn Dont care if its 12 hundred threads on the subject. The subject of the thread is clear so you dont have to open it. Agree entirely with metininkibris. People 4,5,6 years ago and some today, were too keen to brown nose, and stop any post that was negative or non clappy handy, with retorts of ''if you dont like being ripped of you shouldnt have come''.or ''how dare you ,if you dont like it go home''. ''Its their country and we are guests'' or the the stupid''if you research, everything will be ok''. or''You didnt talk nice enough to the builder'' The result was that the powers that be thought ,because so many ,Im all right Brits, were so keen to support the system, that fraudsters didnt need checked and they could get away with no reforms..Later on when many of those same Brits realised their sweep it under the carpet wasnt working and word was out regardless of their attempts ,it was too late to reform. NC was paradise, but aquiescence in corruption has ruined it

Agree with all you say and frankly if there is proof that these posts are lies then surely it is in the hands of the Agents too, so why dont they produce it and put the whole thing to bed. End of topic. They are big enough to squash this if it is untrue, why dont they??

Well said Girne29. Direct and straight to the point. Far too many gave out recommendations as soon as they paid their deposit and had lunch with their builder or Estate Agent.

Lets see, 5 to 6% of the purchase price, another £200 plus if they recommend their 'tame' Advocate, oh heady days, did they really think the gravy train made 'no' stops. Nothing is their fault though. The first point of contact was the Estate Agent, in too many cases the rot started there and just never stopped. Oh and guess where the commission and 'kick back came from, you got it, out of the victims pocket. I wonder how many Agents put their kick backs through their 'books'.??
