I am a retired zoo keeper and since I have moved to Northern Cyprus, I miss the collection of parrots that I used to look after. I held a zoo licence and my partner worked for many years for a magazine all about pet birds. Does anyone (maybe someone returning to the UK) have a pet parrot that is in need of a good home?

I am afraid that I still do not have that kind of money available to spend.

Further to my previous message, I can certainly offer them a good home and if you wish to check my "credentials" you could certainly get in touch with Rosemary Low. I appreciate that they are not expensive, but I simply do not have that amount of spare cash at the moment.
