As a British Citizen is it possible to Fly in to Larnaca from the UK cross the border and stay in Kyrenia but then leave via Ercan to Istanbul and back to the UK.



I know the other way round is goes against the law.

I flew the other way round, ie from Luton into Larnaca with Monarch, stayed in Kyrenia then flew from Ercan to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen with Pegasus, then crossed Istanbul to Ataturk and flew back to London Heathrow with BA. No problems at all..... didnt know this is not supposed to be allowed, why wouldnt it be?

As a British Citizen with an eu passport you can travel either way round. The ROC cannot restrict your movement on entering and leaving an eu member state.

I've done it both ways, once my destination was Germany rather than UK and I've had no problems at all

you can fligh from and to larnaca and from and to istanbul to go to UK - no prroblem at all !!! it is all over now you have the freedom to move-
