Is there a branch of the Garanti Bankasi in Girne and if so where. Thanks in advance.

Hi Chris,



If you travel along the main road from Lapta to Girne and drive pass Deniz Plaza on your left, Garanti is almost after it on the left side also.



If you get to the roundabout near the market, you have gone too far!

Chris, there is another branch in town - walk down the main street from the car park, first left and it's just opposite you on the right. The manager of this branch is called Gaye, speaks perfect English & is very helpful! We were with the other branch near Denis Plaza but moved with Gaye to the town centre branch when she became manager.

The Bank of Limassol is on the corner & it's just next to that - very small frontage so easily missed! but it's there. x

I've found the branch in the centre of town, faster and the people much more helpful than the larger branch. BTW, if a Garanti ATM anywhere else other that the large branch ever swallows your plastic card, then it's the town centre branch you go to report or pick it up. The ATM machine outside the old Bektas, threw a wobbly about 3 weeks ago and swallowed about 30 cards in two days!!
