Which restaurant would you recommend for a special meal in January?

Can anyone tell me what would be a good restaurant for a birthday meal, on a Friday night in January? Was going to go to The House until I noticed it was Karaoke on a Friday, then thought of Midsummer House but this is currently closed until March..... any suggestions please? Anyone tried the Blue Moon (think that is the name), small restaurant on the left hand side of the road as you come down from the Abbey, in Bellapais?

Bella Moon in Bellapais has always been consistently good.



If you enjoy Italian food then try Ibelli in the Turkish Quarter [ex Sele].



The Meadow next door to Pumps Gym near to Pia Bella Hotel.

Try Corner House, Ozenkoy, Terry Baker is I believe one of the best chefs in the north.

go to efendi the best ala carte on the island. best nite sat but you will have to ring them to get in. tell andy or amy its special and they will not disapoint you. prices are good also and top quality.i go no where else for my special moments.also have entertainment on sats and other nites.

If you go to bellapais before April at night its too cold so the nights on ice

the archway for the waiter dress and the log fires is excellent

I tried Efendi , had the mussels 4 of them on a leaf had the 50 ytl steak with salad ,smallest steak i have ever seen , the salad was a match for the steak , when i complained , was told to go to Bayti,s if i was hungry , will ever go again very dissapointed with the meal and the service

Efendi is the best restaurant by far, it has a lovely atmosphere, will be warm and the food is fabulous.

old shep you knocked efendi before just because you say you had a bad experiance.i am sure if you had spoke to andy you would have been sorted.i think your just one of those people who just like to moan.just my opinion.efedi is one of the best i have ever been to in kibris.not bragging but have dined in some real top class restaurants.

Not sure if it's still OPEN but it has to be DUNYA its like going back in time. Good service and 5 star food had many a good night there what more could you ask.
