The £40 from Taxi Express is very competitive, and sensible at this time of year given lack of customers no doubt. Also, someone was recommending them on this site a few nights ago. I would suggest you use a company that comes from a recommendation for reliability. So far Taxi Express and Pacific then...

I always get A-One Rent A Car to pick me up £25- each way. They also provide me with a good deal car rental. If you wish to travel south at any time they will also arrange the paperwork details for you.
