I have nothing to do with this company, even though it looks like I do, this what happens when you cut and paste. I am thinking of purchasing a protection policy from them. Stevie-d

We use them but have never had to claim. £49 per year gives cover for the policy holder and named drivers on the car rental agreement, the policy holder always has to be the main driver on the car rental agreement unless you buy the more expensive excess policy.

I have had an insurance4carhire policy for several years to cover me for car hire in the UK on trips to visit the family, but on the renewal this year it said that you must be resident in the UK. I have renewed, as I do have a UK address and am resident for tax purposes, but if I ever have to claim, will they query why I always pick up and return cars from Stansted?
