Has the Homefront shop closed for good ?? Have been waiting on material arriving for an upholstery order since August!!

Last update was it will be in after the November Bayram but shop has beel closed all of January !!

Anyone know for sure ????

Think you will find that the people running the shop have left the island and the owners of the property have locked the doors with stock still inside.

As far as i know Mike & Ebru are in England,don't know as to whether they will be returning to the TRNC.

If you try the upholsterer next door to Cenap in Alsancak they might be able to help, they have a good range of fabrics, very many are the same as were available at Homefront, and cheaper too.

Does anyone know what is happening to the stock? I was expecting them to deliver the other half of an L-shaped sofa when I'm over in March. The one half I've got isn't much use! Nobody seems to want to reply to my e-mails/texts.

The company that makes our furniture also used to supply Homefront.

well i must say if they are gone What a shame , they tried very hard and its an up hill battle still pay tax if you are taking nothing ,

i used them on many occations , also put customers there way , did there best as we all do ,

what can one say , standing at a gate ,waiting for a delivery , spent so much , cant wait ,

I am shocked to hear this. I bought most of my furniture from them, and last October one of their

dining chairs broke when a guest of mine was sitting on it. He was by no means heavy and it could

have been a nasty accident. The chair was collected for repair, and I did get an email in November

from Ebru saying she had been in Turkey and was "looking into the matter" - nothing since.

Email from Ebru last November had no mention of the shop closing down. It would have been nice to forewarn us rather than find out about it on the forum!

I have been in business for 46 years and have lost count of the number of customers and tenants who have gone bust owing me money.

Do you know, not one of them "forewarned " me, Amazing!
