The format is in the subject line ! Its an Interview and a programme that I have done once a week for the last 16 years.

A bit off topic for which I apologise but my new little Grundig radio does not seem to want to pick up the wavelength (MW) so that I can listen



It was about 50 Euros so not cheap crap.



What can I do to get this station? I only bought the thing so that I could listen to this channel.

It is not broadcast on MW but on FM. Frequencies are listed on post 1. Just as easy to listen to it over the internet.

I only buy 2 gb (use a Dongle). That would soon be used up wouldn't it if I listened to the radio on it.



I watched Mr Denktash's funeral through my laptop. I had only renewed my 2gb's the week before and it used it all up (perhaps 3 hours viewing). Went into Lemar to ask the girl and she said when you have used it up you have no internet connection left.



So my 40 tl was gone in one week.



Am I doing something wrong?

Suehowlittle we also have trouble very often picking up Bayrak, we are quite close to the main transmitter, (the big one that lights up at night way above Alsancak) I think the mountain actually stops some of our signal in Lapta Baspinar,



Also weather can affect it

What is your problem AJ, surely the interview will be more interesting if you don't know beforehand what it contains. If you have a specific issue you would like to discuss then Lee displays his email on this forum, just ask him, I'm sure he will answer any query you may have.

I do not have a problem, all I am trying to find out is the content of the program. If it is solely about Festival 11 then am not even going to bother about tuning in as I (as well as a lot of others) have now become a little bit bored with the exposure it has had on 44. With all due respect, I am a busy person at the moment and I base my internet listening on information supplied in advance by the broadcasters. It is not hard to give some idea of the content of a program. Thank you anyway and I will endeavor to contact Lee directly to get some more info that no one else is willing to supply.

Unfortunately/fortunately for me I am involved in the music scene and I am either out listening to bands/musicians or when I am at home I spend my time trying to get to grips with playing the guitar and trying to write songs so I have to plan my listening time. I am sorry I do not fall into your stereotypical listener profile but that is why I have asked the questions. If it is worth it for me to take time out to listen to your program based on information I am given then I will otherwise I have other things I need to do.

AJ, I am sure that the majority of his time will be discussing his and Jans massive committment to the plight of little Ismail. He will obviously be giving us an insight of the day to day involvement of their efforts to keep this young man alive ! I think (forgive me if wrong) that both Lee and Denise would not spend precious "airtime" discussing something that is of bad taste at present to many and expect the programme to be of great interest to all. Sorry for the late reply but trying to eat my evening meal and using the computer for some unknown reason do not mix so for those that have previously accused me of not being able to multitask you are are correct.

As for having the chance to listen to my music there will hopefully be at least two opportunities this year and one I am definitely going to do is GlastonVicki at the Black Olive Cafe. Anyway now I have finished my meal I am going to take a shower and bugger off.

I have many emails from UK. To clarify the Interview goes out on air at 9pm Cyprus time. If you are listening online in UK the transmisiion time is 7pm. I hope this clears up any misundertanding about the broadcast time.
