We have started a new Russian language monthly glossy magazine (Property, Education and Tourism in North Cyprus) called “ЖИВИ НА СРЕДИЗЕМНОМ МОРЕ: Северный Кипр.” (Live in the Mediterranean: North Cyprus).



We work with the Ministry of Tourism, the Real Estate Association and the Contractors Association of North Cyprus.







The magazine is distributed

in the posh areas of the Russian capital Moscow (including Rubyovka region) - 5000 copies every month ,



as well as 1000 copies in North Cyprus - at all gates ( Ercan airport, sea ports, check points) and supermarkets every month .



It is free of charge.



In Moscow it is a door-to door delivery (we use a governmental delivery company).

We aim at middle class and high class people of Russia.



The first issue will be released

I agree with phil, it is misleading to bracket all russians with low-lifes and criminals:

recent huge street protests show there is a growing "thinking" minority over there to some

extent identified with the better-educated, and more middle-class townspeople,

...and protest in russia is more demanding than writing a stiff letter to the daily telegraph



there is another factor too, and here I stick out my neck to state that the "regrettabalists"

and the "fullofrussianalists" may be secretly miffed that for the ole' lion, fings aint wot they

used to be on cyprus at any rate, SBA's apart



oh I'm not claiming that russians are cyprus' financial saviour but at a time when a lot of

western countries got by on unsustainably cheap credit and now can barely afford trousers

to cover their rear-ends, it may where new investors will of necessity come from



so how's about a deal to broker "peace in syria" by swopping their prized naval base at

tartus for dhekelia?

When I was in Cyprus the Russian(assumption ,maybe ukraine etc) were better behaved than the British kids and spoke at least a little English, and did not wear football shirts to dinner with their own name on the back. if you care I am English.

Are you sure you are happy with this statement? As by implication you hold that that the majority do not think and come from the less-educated lower classes from the countryside...

Some of the world's greatest thinkers might baulk at the views being expressed in this thread but the replies don't display much evidence of deep thought do they?
