Is there anywhere i can purchase American Express Traveller's Cheques in North Cyprus ? I have tried all the big banks to no avail.

I have a feeling that I read somewhere that Amex traveller's cheques are not accepted here so maybe you cannot buy them anywhere. Have you thought about going across the border at Ledra Street and buying from a bank there?
