Looking at the comments and existing information about all aspects of Sailing and Powerboating on Cyprus44, a good deal of tidying up is necessary. All the facilities exist within a TRNC Federation Club located at Diana beach, Catalkoy, called the GWSC. There is a website, enter Girne Water Sports Club in Google, read the website in English in detail. The Sail and Power Boat Training Team number four, two are UK RYA trained professionals, there are two Yacht Masters, and two Coaches, one a former RYA Regional Coach, and one a former RAF Nationl Dinghy Coach. There are dinghies: Optimists, Lasers, Wayfarers of 3 Mks, Xenons, an Albacore, a Laser Funboat already in the club. We did run commercial sailing in the TRNC from 1983 to 2005. We teach the youth of the TRNC from 10yrs to 18yrs of 7 resident nationalities. We cater for adult guests, tourists, and residents from late teens to near 80yrs. We provide Yacht experience sailing, be it two days afloat, or anywhere in the Mediterranean.
