I bought Wednesday's edition to read about Wales' fanastic last minute goal against the Irish, winning 23_21

We have a full colour page of some English bloke holding a cup,3/4 page report on the England

I cannot see ANY report on the Sunday match between Wales and Ireland.

Shame on you,Cyprus Today

mike. We have the same problem here in UK pages and pages of Rugby Union but Rugby League seen as a Northern game gets a little report in the newspapers if lucky.

Sorry about the coverage Mike, let me tell you quietly, WE WON!

An impressive performance apart from the kicking, we should have not left it so late

The jocks will be a tough match on Sunday

Hope Italy put in an 80 minute performance on Saturday, they looked good in parts against France

Thanks,Ian...yes I did get back and saw the match in a friend's bar !!!!!Unfortunately I was the only Welshman and unfortunately there was a round-balled game on another TV which distracted a bit.

Fascinating match,I think Wales were missing little Shane, and a reliable kicker. But Mr.Halfpenny came up trumps

"Cyprus Today - disappointed in sports coverage"

The whole paper is a disappointment. ( In my opinion) 3TL too !! Very disappointing. Hardly enough pages to light a decent fire !!

The referee is always right, yeah right! only on this occasion he was wrong. Should have been a red card for the tip tackle. I think Ireland might just have won against fourteen rampaging Welshmen. Fair play to Wales who had much more of the ball and territory.

Seem to remember a Scots linesman allowing Wales a quick throw in with the wrong ball that lead to a try in the same fixture last year and then this year we have gutless English officials denying the Men in Green a win.

Talk about the 'Luck of the Welsh' LoL

Hey Tony, some consolation for the World Cup.Should Warburton have been sent off in the first few minutes, yes,a similar tackle, but most agree a yellow card was the right decide decision.Still a French speaking referee !!!!

Come on you Scots,Let's beat you too !!!!!

Bradley Davies,of Wales, just been banned for 7 weeks for the same tackle..missed by referee..therefore misses all of the matches.

Now,if had been seen, would he just be red carded, and no after punishment?

Good punt Mike

Guys lets be honest, the poor disillusioned English fans look on in admiration of rugby being played as it should be, free flowing and entertaining.

Thought Bradley's punishment was a little harsh, he was the victim of circumstances. Perhaps a different camera angle would have told a different story! He's not a bully like Laws and Armitage

Nevertheless, fingers crossed for a win for the Taffs and Italians! Hope France come unstuck also

mikelapta,if he had been red carded he would still have been banned,a red card is issued for an offence the referee deems as serious, punishment follows,

The citing panel deemed Ferris's tackle as not being worthy of a penalty. So there we have it. Ireland winners by 21 - 20. Another game we should have won!
