Ensure that the passport number matches that on the log book otherwise they won't do transfer. In other words, if your Dad has changed his passport since he first registered the car then the number will be different so make sure you check.

Message 3 s correct. I sold a car for someone, and shortly after I had the police on the phone to me saying it was illegal to sell someone elses car, even though I had permission.
