The Corner Bar has shut down and Jan has left the TRNC. I also hear it may be re-opening under new British management and if it does I am sure it will continue to be frequented by the die-hards that supported Jan. It would also be nice to see more support from other ex-pats in the area as we need to rally round our own community during these difficult times.

Lilli I have had a very, very good report from a friend on your own establishment...



Before anyone asks, I have never been and have no connection with the place... but may well visit soon... in cognito of course. 8¬) Hence the dark glasses on the smiley...

hi all, its very sad to hear Jan has left trnc.

we live just around the corner from the bar and have always enjoyed his hospitality, electricity cut or not, he always made us a nice meal and made us very welcome

Is it really going to open with new hosts?

hope so, we hve spent some good times there
