Good morning,

My wife and I will soon be taking possession of an apartment at Thalassa Beach at Bafra. This has been quite a long time coming but we appear to be nearly there. As both of us intend to retire this summer we plan to make good use of the apartment but we are keeping our house in England and so it is not our intention to re-locate permanently.

Three initial questions; firstly does anybody know/recommend a bank in the bafra area? Secondly is there a restriction on the amount of time a 'tourist' can spend in TRNC during 1 visit and also within any one year; thirdly, is it necessary to book a return flight or is it allowed to book a one way ticket to allow flexibility in terms of a return date?

Thanks in anticipation of your responses,

When trying tp post this message it flagged up that my message was too short and that I had to add more characters and so I am adding this even though it has nothing to do with my questions and I am just adding it for the sake of it.

albie Glad you are keeping your home i in Britain, wise man.

I recommend HSBC although do not know if one in Bafra area.

You usually get a three month stamp (visa) on your passport - no limit to number of trips.

No, you do not need a return ticket. Passport control do not look at your tickets.

▶ Albie, it has nothing to do with the body text (your message) - it simply means that the title in the subject field was too short.
