MULTIMAX doubles its capacity in Girne Area!

I like to announce with great pleasure that our second high capacity link over the mountain has just been installed and put into operation.



In addition to the increased capacity, this link now also provides a fully automated redundancy system to Lefkosa for all customers in girne, further minimizing the service downtimes.



Our current capacity now is capable of providing service to 10 times more customers than what we currently have, until another major upgrade will be needed.



I thank all our customers for continued support.

You tried to install internet for me recently Kemal but couldnt get a signal. What about installing a system on the existing tower (on the road up to the village from the square) in Karsiyaka to cover those of us who can`t use your excellent service?

Second basestation in Karsiyaka is in plans for installation for for the few people who cannot get a signal from our existing one. We expect it to be up and running by mid-March.

I am in Karsiyaka and am over the moon with MultiMax I took a speed test at 5am and found I was getting 26 Mbps download and 21Mbps upload. Great for downloading at night. Thanks Kemal.

As I said Multimax have tried installing internet where we (and eight others) are but no luck despite trying a 5 metre pole on the roof. Hopefully the new base station will cover us. At the moment I have to use XRealnet !!

@xizigo, it is still unavailable in famagusta but we are making solid progress to bring the service over to that area very soon.



@ismet: It was indeed very interesting. There was 6 students; 2 from Prime Ministry's 'Kamu Net', one person from Near East Uni, 2 IT managers from Merit Hotels and myself. I was only disappointed that noone has showed up from the police department. The instructor was very good with years of hands on experience on the subject.
