| We live in the old village above the Mosque and just below the old church on the mountainside. This morning, our neighbour's lovely little dog,-never a bother to anyone,-- stayed on his own ground and wasn't noisy, died from poisoning. The Vet said he probably picked it up a day or so ago, so it must have been in his own garden, or the yard opposite belonging to the family. Dog owners and walkers be very aware. |

| do you think it was deliberate, or was it something in the garden, perhaps.I am so sorry - they must be heart broken. It is getting very wearisome this business of animals being poisoned. Where I am at the moment that does not happen, but animal rights campaigners have been around for a long time, with one of the principal ones being Peter (oops, forgotten his surname, but he has written books) who is an Aussie. Oh for the day that Cyprus catches up. Personally I am terrified of letting my dog off the lead EVER or even taking her for a walk. She will end up really fat , but at least she will be alive. |
