Could someone please let me know when the MOT is due on my car. I seem to have a piece of paper for the emission test dated 12/08/2009 and an MOT with the same date, but my wife has seen somewhere that it is due now.

My registration is EP 749.

Hi Kevan,



for a private car (I mean which it is not registered as a van / commercial vehicle on log book) MOT test is compulsory every 3 year.



According to your number plate "EP" you can check exac date from the Tax office. I found website link about MOT dates.

in Section "D Ozel Araclar, Motosikletler ve Elektrikli Motorlar



which is "D Private vehicles, Motorbikes and Electric Engines" MOT Dates



according to this chart for number plate "EP" MOT test will be between 6.09.2012 - 19.09.2012



please also check it from nearest Tax office at least by phone.
