Looking for traditional cypriot chairs either to be donated or bought. When I say Cypriot I mean like the ones with straw seats. We have a lovely old looking table and need 8-10 chairs to go around it. Get in touch. Please let me know ur price in ur post. Many thanks H.

Babutsa00 In answer to this post and a previous one, the chairmaker in Guzelyurt is a real nice guy and a craftsman too, his workshop is open sporadically but the next time I see him I'll get his telephone number for you. There are a couple of English speaking families in Zumrutkoy, my pal runs the village football team there which has a youth side. Going towards Lefkosa about 15 mins or so you have Zet Karting (Go cart track) and just the other side of Guzelyurt at Guneskoy is a small holiday complex run by an English speaking family with a large pool with slides, not really an aquapark but I'm sure the children would enjoy it. At Gaziveren (also west of Guzelyurt) is a large holiday complex that has windsurfing instructors but you would need to check if they give lessons to non-guests. Good luck with your move.

The Chairmaker, I saw him today his telephone number is 0533 8884746, Hannas Bey but he does't speak English. He has a stock of about 20 made up at present. I hope this helps if you are interested.
