I do not understand what the 6tl per person is. Do you mean that for a single will it costs 46tl and for a married couples' back to back wills it costs 52tl?

Sorry, just not getting it.

I heard first hand that doing your own will via the court (on a Wednesday?) is worthless.... they do not honour it and you have the nausea of then having to get an advocat to help.

I would reply this post tomorrow when I will be at the office and check fees table but I think I should reply now.

As I remember you should put a 35.50 /- TL revenue stamp on will document and

you should give court registrar 6- 7 /-TL something revenue stamp for the Will Registration Book when you register your will at the court.

n.b I 'll check what is the exact stamp fee for will tomorrow and write here if I remember wrong.

You dont have to register your Will with the Court for it to be legal.

A will is valid as long as it is done properly irrespective of who has drawn it up. furthermore the registration in court is optional. It does not affect its validity but it may save some trouble for the beneficiaries.
