Hi, i am a fully qualified beauty therapist with over 15 years experience, and wanted to do a little research with all the ladies out there and find out if there are any mobile therapists in girne or if salons seem to be more popular? Also last time i was over picked up a price list and did not think treatments were particularly cheap? compared to uk.



any advice and feedback would be great

Lulu, I thought I would get this in before the soothsayers get there words in and scare you away.

IF you are thinking of starting a business of sorts here, be sure you do your research first, there are obstacles and lots of formalities.

Just making sure you know what you're in for before you take the dive.

Someone more qualified can add in depth details for you, ask away..

Sounds a very good idea especially for anyone living out of town. Would you restrict yourself to any particular distance. I think if you give some indication of prices this would help people decide. I like to know in advance what something will cost which is not always the case in some salons here.

hi there thanks for all comments, i am actually in uk at the moment and would be over in a couple of months to live. I wanted to do a little research via the forum as when im over dont have much time.

No i definetaly wouldnt restrict myself to one area and if possible would try and accomodate. And this was one of the reasons i wanted some feedback on prices as what i charge in uk in my salon and what i have seen although brief visits seem to be on the same par.... which to me seems quite expensive considering wages etc... if anyone could give me some approx prices on waxing facials manicure/pedicures etc this would be a great help.

I have successfully run my own salon for 15 years and have also worked abroad i have alot of experience in my field of work and when i come over to trnc i dont particularly want the headache of running a salon straight away and though that being mobile could be a good way of finding my feet doing my job which i love and having more time for clients rather

Also packages are very popular over here so you save money on a waxing package for example. or loyalty cards with every 6 treatments client gets a free treatment. Does anyone know if this is popular in cyprus do salons offer this??
