Young dog needing a loving home - Urgent!

Please can anyone help us?



A young Pointer bitch pup, approx 6-7 months old, has turned up where I work in Bahceli and we urgently need to find her a loving, caring home. She is brown and white in colour, has a lovely temprement and looks well fed and healthy. Unfortunately, KAR are unable to help as they already have too many dogs needing rehousing. We are caring for her at the moment but the man looking after her returns to England on Christmas Eve and we urgently need to find her a loving home. We have children on site where I work and she is very good with them and is a very loving dog. Please can anyone help us and give this lovely dog a loving home? Hi Jayne I have just been told that a pup matching your description has been dumped around the Esentepe area by a Turkish labourer who has gone back to Turkey. If it is the same one her name is Lily and she was very well trained. Some of my neighbours have been to the area trying to find her as they were feeding her at the building site. I will pass your number on to them.

Once again wonderful KAR to the rescue ...NOT...what is the point of having this waste of time known as KAR if they don't do what they were set up to do, Battersea dogs home would never turn away a dog.



KAR has just had a bumper crop of money from generous brits...so to all of you who donated and helped how do you feel about this, I would DEMAND my money back!



Charity for the dogs of the TRNC clearly does not begin at home or KAR!!!

as its christmas maybe everyone could help .

when shopping just buy a tin of food and go out find a stray dog and give it a xmas treat.

go on give it a try!

as i did yesterday, went out to feed a nursing bitch with pups.

how pleased was she to see me!



i do know of another 2 dogs which need new homes, currently being cared for at the small office on the esentepe road, if anyone can help.(mum and male puppy)

Good to know there are good people around. The dog situation here is so upsetting!

I have done the same as you a few times now, and if I see a littler of pups, I buy some food and make sure they get a little bit of food.

Such an awful situation here!

hi jayne

yesterday hubby saw 2 pups at the side of the road, no more than a few days old.

as he was walking another dog at the time he couldn't do much.

so we went back in the dark to find them.

mum had found them but was looking near death, so went home and got her a meal.

the only touble was she wanted to come home with me,which is not an option as i have three dogs already.

i will be going back to check on them later today, and every day until i know they are all ok.

(luckily they do have shelter as they are in a half built house, so at least they are dry and out of the wind. )

I applaud all of us who do our best for the dogs here and I condemn KAR for turning their backs on them.

I have also contacted BARC (Bogaz Animal Rescue Centre) this morning and they cannot help either.



Like you Firestarter, I love animals but my home situation will not allow me to take anymore dogs/cats home with me.



Terrible situation here.



If we cannot home our little pup by Christmas Eve, I am going to have to try and set her up a little hiding place with shelter here where I work, and pop and feed her each day. such a shame as she, like many other dogs in the same situatin, is a lovely pup and would make someone a great companion.



Thanks to you all for your support. We have only lived here for 6 months and the dog situation here is an awful shock to us!
