Good value supermarkets near Girne

As well as Lemar, Tempo, Supreme etc, I heard there was a large supermarket called Erulku? quite close to Ercan but on the main road and that it was meant to have a very big range at reasonable prices.



Has anyone any experience of this supermarket and whether it is worth the trip.



We will be staying to the east of Girne when we come over on holiday quite soon.

Take a trip to Erulku! Plan to do your shopping there and it is worth the trip. Clean, bright, well laid out, good prices and happy staff. You can get things there you do not normally find in the supermarkets around the Girne area.

We have been there a few times. If I say it is where lots of locals shop, that may speak for itself.



Well worth the trip. Little tip........as you go in check at the desk on your right and see what freebiz they hand out.



One time we bought some fruit juices and ended up with another few. Depending on how much you buy they check your bill and give the free bits accordingly.

Brilliant range of veg and decent quality too.

I can recommend Eruklu too, we combine it with a trip to the large 1001 at the Ercan turnoff.
