I agree (why don't they pay for advertising?). Maybe they will be put off if a property doom monger like TRNC Victim gets on to them... or somebody called "TRNC Rental Victim" with stories of poor state of property, ruined holidays, don't rent from these... etc. Cheapskate renters - stop hijacking 44 forum!!

I think the problem is that when you post something for instance on the rental section it automatically shows on the main forum page? I posted a rental last week on what I deemed to be just the rentals section but once posted it also showed on main forum. I know what you mean it is nice just to read general things not just advertising.

I've no problem with advertising rentals - but I like the site to be full of interesting opinions and useful information to others... not just for advertising their own / friend's rental properties (that's all).



TRNC victim (msg 8) - it seems whilst railing (daily) against those who made an apparently fast buck out of your plight by side stepping legal protocols... you are happy to do the same by accepting a similar fast buck regarding property via a brown envelope?? Please tell me you are joking!!!

To bring back on topic, I agree that the advertising of rentals is a little tiresome to say the least!
