Brilliant news. This is the best possible outcome for unwanted/unloved pets. Now people have no excuse for not taking their pets back with them. They are more important than the furniture!

It was a difficult journey for everyone due to several totally unexpected problems along the way. But the dogs all coped remarkably well - the same probably wasn't true for the owners, couriers, KAR - we were all stressed to the max !!! I know that Patch has touched many cyp44 hearts and i am so so pleased that she was able to make the trip. I spoke to Aimee last night and hope to have some photos for posting on here soon. To all the dogs who made the journey, the owners who waited so patiently for them to arrive, the couriers who got them there and all of the KAR staff involved in the last 4 months of planning, caring, worrying and organising - WELL DONE.

It was very interesting seeing the pictures and reading the comments every da and I'm so pleased they all got back safely, and the dogs (and owners ) all looked so happy.. What a journey, and how brilliant were the couriers. As great as it is that so many dogs were able to back to the U.K. , it is still not so simple to take your animals back to the U.K. as message 3 seems to think. If you have your own house their, then great, but if you have to rent, nearly all places say no pets, so there is still that hurdle to overcome. People are not always looking for excuses to leave their pets, sometimes it is just not possible if someone has to leave here in a hurry., but it is now great for people that can take them.
