Just read on a post about Ismael's progress that Lee has been banned ? is this true can anyone verify.

And if so why ? I personally don't think he as a bad bone in his body, crap singer maybe, but is that reason enough to ban him ? ( only joking )

Msg 1 & 5 YES he is banned for a month for daring to question what can only be described as a huge cover up. I can only assume that a certain moderator (and I know which one!) has been 'got at' and made to silence us! I suppose this will get closed shortly and I too will be banned but who cares? the truth should be told!

This just about sums up this forum of late. We have foul mouthed posters, troublemakers, multiple ID,s, racists, link posting idiots, stalkers and trolls, they are still here, yet Lee Hickens, who has worked his butt off to raise funds for a little boy gets banned for questioning where charity money went. I don't know what motivated whichever mod to ban him, I thought the only thing on here that you can't question is the legality of the TRNC.

It is indeed sad, that people have been banned from this forum simply for exercising their right to freely express their opinions. Whether you agree with them or not, the right of free speech , should be a given, and should not be arbitrarily taken away. Those who are banned at the moment for daring to pursue a matter that was of great interest to so many, deserve better treatment and should be reinstated immediately.

DC a generous offer but doesn't that make us as bad as the double IDs on here already who we would like to eradicate? They surely can't ban every poster, so if we all united against this decision they would surely have to back down and allow this subject to be debated further until we get to the truth. Lee Hickens has raised a lot of money for Ismail and for that alone he deserves respect. Many posters on this forum have contributed to various charities, willingly too,without those contributions there would be a (transparently) massive shortfall. With regard to the money raised for CH through the festival I feel very strongly that those people are entitled to the courtesy of an honest answer to their legitimate questions. For the Moderators to close threads asking those questions and to ban people for asking them is wrong, all people want is the truth so why prevent it being disclosed.

The banning of Johnny Lee is so very wrong in my opinion, this farce over the accountability or lack of it with regards to Festival 11 will not go away despite the administrators of this forum refusing to allow freedom of speech on this matter.



The forum may be a commercial venture but its the members that make or break it.



Why has an administrator or administrators taken such action, have they been forced to do so if so who by or do any of the administrators or the forum owner have any connections with Festival 11?



I think now is the time to declare any vested or conflicting interests because at the moment it points to something along these lines.

Lee Hickens did NOT deserve to be banned, nor does anyone who has done nothing more than insisting that the truth be told.

Please reinstate Lee immediately. It is no loss to him. It is a loss of dignity though for this Forum.



So which moderator banned him or is it a collective decision?

This ban is outrageous and in itself against forum rules and regulations. I think the moderators (some, not all) and Izzet should cast their memories back to the financial "plea" they made a while ago when I know for a fact Lee gave a certain amount to help them out. We need to return to the subject matter...the denial of freedom of speech....yes, the moderators have a tough job, but like everyone else, they sometimes make mistakes and I believe that they have erred in their decisions to ban those who only seek the truth. Time to lift the bans, reopen the fundraising debate and get to the bottom of the whole matter.

Having followed most posts re the Cheshire Homes Festival 11 or even 10 or even "Party in the Parks" alledged scandal, I suggest that it looks very doubtful that any of us will get a true answer or justice regarding the money raised from honest people for a supposedly good cause. The bans followed accordingly. All I want to know is firstly why were the CH and Festival 11 threads closed, excuses of bullying and stalking on those threads does not wash with me so lets have an honest answer please. It is obvious something is amiss with the accounting and fundraising for CH so lets not have a cover-up by those that own and run this forum.



Secondly, why was Lee banned, again please let us have an honest answer from those that own and run the forum.



Trying to take this matter out of the public domain on here is a farce, even Cyprus Today and several other forums are openly discussing it so why not on here?



Silence is not an option it just smacks of those that own and run this forum being in cahoots with those that have committed a wrong, hopefully truth will out before all of us questioning the actions of the admins are also banned from here.

I can only speak for myself and only know something about CH from what I read on C44, otherwise I have no connections at all. I consider Taner Erginel, the retired chief Justice as a friend and I believe he is on the board and busy investigating this case but I had no contact with him whatsoever.

Here I can answer the specific questions but not the unspecified ones like "...there are numereous threads...". the reason was pure and simple: the matter was fully aired and everybody had their say. what followed did not bring anything new but simply kept going as a matter of pressure and attack on those concerned. It was not any more for discussion but simple bullying. Furthermore, from what I read from C44, the CH relevant committee was investigating the matter and they deserved a chance to investigate quietly without harassment. such matters need time for safe reliable results.

I did not delete the thread completely because it contained valuable information. My aim was not to sweep anything under the carpet; it was to stop bullying and also afford time to the committee to investigate safely. In the past ı had to investigate a matter of theft and I came under pressurre from the Prime Minister of the time for quick results. I told him off for the above reasons.
