| No law against it, entirely up to the Car Rental Company.
I don't know of any that would allow that.
Most won't even allow you to take their cars into the South of Cyprus!

| Why would you want to anyway?? Surely much easier to hire a car when you get there & it would be correct handed drive for the Turkish roads. |

| We tried to do this last summer - but to hire a car in Tasucu was going to cost a fortune as there were no local car hire companies and it would have been delivered from elsewhere- so we abandoned our trip - shame as we found a lovely, little hotel not too far from the port - the scenery looks fantastic around there - will be interested to hear if you can take a hire car over or if you find a reasonably priced hire car. |

| Surely what you save on the cost of the ferry would cover the extra for car hire.
It seems madness really that you can't hire a car in Tasucu. |

| As 2 states, you will not find any rental company that will allow the car to go outside of TRNC
1. it would hard for you to drive in Turkey unless you have experiance driving in Europe.
2. the cost of the car from Trnc to turkey will cost you around 450TL (Fergun Ferries no longer everyday)
3. Even if the Car rental company allows you to take the car, more than likely, you will not be able to get cover in Turkey on arrival as the ferry arrives at 8pm into Tasucu.
4.You are better off flying to Antalya or Adana and hiring local.
