Forestry wood yards/depots ?

Does anyone know where the Gvmt/Forestry run wood yards (where you go to buy logs) are apart from the Lefcosia one ? Would like to know so we can stock up in spring/summer ready for next winter.

I went to the forestry dept in Girne recently to get a permit for my chainsaw and asked if they were selling any logs , the guy told me that they don't have any because the Government won't pay for the trees to be felled.

This was 3 weeks ago

hmm well it has moved and there are no signs ( or there weren't ) from the hospital walk towards town you will go past the gov vetinary dept, if memory serves me correct it's just along on the left hand side ( look for a newish looking fence) sorry not very good with directions ! lol If you cant find it just ask in the pharmacy it's very close.

btw permit is 20 tl a year , i got a 2 year one = 40 tl you need make , model & serial number and as always take passport just in case
