Dog missing from Lemar Karakum

Has anyone seen the lovely brown friendly lab/hound type dog known as Lily Lemar who is always outside Lemar supermarket in Karakum? We have not seen her for a week, and like many others including the staff of Lemar, we feed her. She has been looked after for well over a year, and is built like a house side. We are extremely worried about her. She is very street wise and handles the traffic well on the main road when she goes over to visit the cafes for even more food! We hate to think that she has been taken away because she has no collar with the awful cheap discs that terrify my street dogs with the constant clattering noise as they run around. KAR volunteers know her, perhaps someone may know what has happened to her. Like many other people who adore her, we couldn't home her as we already have three dogs.

Fingers crossed, maybe someone has taken pity on her in the cold weather and given her a home, wish I had been able to, she is a love.

I have not seen that dog for months, used to work her way down by windows cafe. Wanted to take her but like you too many already.

She was definitely there end of last week. I drive through car park every morning on the way to work. I will keep a look out and let you know.

Drove past at 9am this mornıng and she was not there. Had heavy rain so she may be taking shelter. Will go again a bit later on today.

We saw a very similar dog on Saturday not far from the Law courts, not sure if it was her.

I hope she is safe and sound, she always reminded me of a fat sunbathing seal, she was so sweet.

The last I saw of him was last week in front of our shop. (next door there is the doner restaurant - we also fed him too) After that there were a pack of dogs around the neighbourhood so maybe that's why he isn't around. Hope he is safe though

Oh now I know the dog this post refers to. Sorry got muddled up with the other Lemar dog (was a short haired brown/beige alsation type build so lovely and friendly). Been missing for months.

Babyheritage, the Dog that you are referring to?, I saw him yesterday by the Army prison/teachers hotel.

Staff at Lemar have been told to discourage strays/not feed them, as one caused damage inside(No further details).

Sometimes she is near Shooters...hopefully she has just wandered down there...I will keep a look out as she is lovely.

I have had 3 independant witnesses saying they have seen Lilly in town, it seems she has been wandering between the New Harbour and Girne town centre, hopefully it is the beloved Lilly, would appreciate any more sightings to be posted.

wouldnt it be possible for one of the many people that have loved and fed her to give her a safe forever home ? she sounds a lovely dog and is well thought of by the sounds of it .

The brown dog who wanders around town is very similar to lily but it is a male.
