Its all about fun and there's plenty of it ! The Workshop Band is in need of a Bass player and Drummer of medium/beginner ability and any other instrumentalists who would like to play with other like minded musicians. I must stress that everyone is welcome no matter what standard and the whole purpose of the workshop is to encourage people who would love to play in a band who otherwise would not ! regards Barry

It was good to see Brad getting into it and as well as his guitar playing I think we could have another vocalist in the line up.

Thanks everyone for your continued support. I hope we can find either bass or drums or both to take things forward and start to "wrap up" some of the loose bits ! I think you have all made giant steps forward into something that you all had just previously brushed the surface. regards Barry

A keyboard player would be an asset as well. There are various instruments available (drums/keyboards and the odd guitar, in fact some very odd guitars ).

Deniz1.. If the stipulation was "Musicians only" Barry (Snakes)would be sat on his own twiddling his thumbs in a very empty studio.. But Dave and myself would still go for the free beer... don't tell the wife ..

AJ - like aeromodellers I've been trying to source, it doesn't sound if there are any, or certainly any 'takers'.



Don't people in this day and age play musical instruments anymore? - Obviously the expat types who live in TRNC don't - very disappointing, isn't it?



What do all these people do when the batteries run out or the power goes off - sulk like kicked dogs, I guess when deprived of their canned, spoon-fed music?



Home made and played music may not be very professional, but at least you can have plenty of fun with sing- alongs and keeping a party going - well that's what I've always believed!
