berkeh2001 works for Lapta Beledyesi and is one of the most helpful people I and others I know have dealt with.



When we had major flooding in TRNC he posted an emergency number for anyone needing assistance.

Have you ever seen anyone else doing that on this forum to assist the expats?



Again, he has posted this topic to inform the expats of a community gathering and ask for ideas on what they would like at this event.



Please stop continually asking if he has left the forum.

If he had, he wouldn't be posting and if he does, it will probably be because he is fed up with trying to make the effort.

Please give it a rest this guy is doing his best to integrate all nationalities in the Lapta area, and to make the 4 days of the Lapta festival, days to remember for the adults as well as the kids. I met with him and Mustapha from the Belidiye today after they finished work and they are trying so hard and don't need people knocking them.



If you have nothing nice to say i suggest you say nothing, either that or get off your butt and help!

now lets get one thing straight philbailey i don't lie secondly i was not going to write on this forum again due to the discussed topic in concern but i had a few emails that changed my mind which we all do now and again now whether you trust me or not that is your problem and as far as i know we have never met . finally i am doing all of this in my own time and it is not to raise money . this is an event we have every year and i am trying to bring all the communities together and from now on i will be ignoring all the off topic posts and comments made . if you would like to help your welcome to . now can we please get back on topic .

Amen message 10. We all need to share some good times, especially in view of some of the recent challenges in our community. so let's do what we can to make this a good happy event. It is always difficult to get things like this going and going well, and without support in every way, it won't happen.



count me in for whatever I can do, although for the life of me I can't think what! I am happy to do most things, but not too keen on cleaning the toilets! sorry!

Really looking forward to this years festival as last years was superb with so much going on and a great atmosphere to boot.

Keep up the good work Berkeh and just ignore philbailey as all he/she is intent on doing is stirring up trouble in a country that he knows nothing about.

AJ this years festival is going to be one for the record books! Berkeh working really hard as are the other guys, BUT he is still not going to be allowed to judge the international cake competition, Mustapha and i both agreed on that today. We are doing that!!!

the main event for the Lapta tourism Festival is from the 21st till the 24 th of june but there will be a lot of events starting 1 week before the main event so make sure you are in Lapta you will not want to miss it as i am sure a lot of you will want to take part !!
