A friend who was having a property built in TRNC has been through the courts (3 years) and won his case - the developer has to pay him back all his money.



It was not a TRNC developer (I believe it was an Isreal developer near Bogaz). They were ordered to pay back all the money (£80+) in 4 regular payments. It was supposed to be paid in cash, but they sent a cheque to his solicitors instead - but 3 payments have gone through, so at least he has got £60 back so far.



Would this have happened if it had been a TRNC 'developer' do you think?

The developer must have not given a back hander but in this long winded case would the result have been the same if he had been a Cypriot?

I think this developer has other developments going on so might be in his interest to pay back money and look good - whatever think my friend v lucky
