brummielass - there is a board member on here, goes by the name of "Gibson". I feel sure he may be able to help/recommend.

Just a couple of questions. have you ever tried to play guitar before?, what style do you want to learn to play? do you want to learn the theory (reading music etc) or do you want a short cut?

Although I do not teach I may be able to give you some guidance and also know a few people that may be able to help you.

hello brummielass not out till april but would be happy to teach you any style from fingure style acoustic/folk to heavy rock if any use ! as jack says it really depends on what style you wish to learn and to be brutally honest if you have any sort of flare for the instrument ! i am not a qualified teacher but a session guitarist and have played for the biggies and recording my own album at present
